New Plush! It's About Time!

Holy Moly!

I'm super excited. I have been working on this Plush for the better part of the last 4 months, maybe more. I keep changing my idea, or getting busy. I can finally say that it is finished, and I love it! I have a few more styles, and screen fronts in the works for more options. I figured I would have it ready for fall!

It was stuffed and and embroidered last night,
then made it's pictorial debut this afternoon.
I can say that I'm totally smittin'

So here it is, a new Plush from OneLateNight.

I hope that everyone loves it!
Once I get the rest of the screens set up, I'll have them
listed in my Etsy shop!

Penny Keepsake. DIY

So as you might have read in the previous post my Dad and I went on a little Father, Daughter day out.

While we were at Heritage Park we waited for the Train engineer to be occupied so my Dad could put two Pennies on the track, for the train to run over and flatten. It was really sneaky business!

 Misson Accomplished!

Here are the next quick steps if you happen to have a train (lol) and a few pennies.

Dirty Pennies. Clean off the track grease.

Clean Pennies!

Next grab your Crop-a-Dile, and 2 Gromets.

Press a hole into each penny, and press your gromets.

Now make your charm additions.

For my Dad I made a really simple Key Chain. I added a looser jump ring so he can easily remove it and use it as a nostalgic Ball marker during his weekend golf games!

For myself, I made a necklace with additional charms.

I hope this inspires you to save a little something from a day out, and make it into a forever keepsake!

Father, Daughter Day.

My Dad had a day off work today;
so he asked me if I wanted to do something!
We went to this place in Calgary, called Heritage Park.

It's basically an "amusement" park. Mostly it shows homes and settlements from the 1900's. It looks like you're entering another era. It's a full mock working city. All of the staff wear period costumes, and work as Blacksmiths, Train Engineers, even Housewives/Children tending to the farm. However they do have carnival rides too. All of the houses and artifacts are real and salvaged from the actual time and have been donated. They also have this new area called Gasoline Alley *swoon*

It's WAY more fun than I made it sound, I promise. I haven't been there in about 15 years.
So it's like new again.

The last time I was there it was on a school field trip in Grade 4. We did an entire school day out in the old school on the property. We had to dress up, and bring only food for lunch that was available in that time. We did spelling Bees, and had recess playing with sticks, and one swing. haha. I went back today and found my desk!

I wrote my name on the chalkboard and claimed it again!

Ok, enough words! Here are some more pictures :)

My Dad :)
( I found out today he doesn't really like being in pics, had to be sneaky!)

Just me :)

Picture Overload! It was hard to narrow it down to these!
Have a fantastic Weekend!

1 Fish, 2 Fish. Red Fish, Blue Fish.

I have been sewing Custom Plush Cameras like a crazy
person for the last few days.

I have also been listening to these songs over, and over again.
They never get old, because they are so beautiful.

These shall play me into the night!

Ps. How cute is this?
It reminds me of Dr. Seuss to the max!

Come On Autumn!

Oh Gosh! I love Fall so much.
I'm dying for it to get here already.

I'm starting to get out some super cute goodies that I have been collecting for a Fall update on Etsy.
Idealy I'd like to wait for the leaves to get here before taking pictures. However I'm impatient, and some of these goodies are too cute to be hidden any longer!

Here's a really vague be it small sneak peek ;)
I just love the colors!!

Some Newfoundland Shots!

I thought I would do a little post with some pictures from Newfoundland. I was in St John's for 3 days. Then off to The Bay and Trinity which are about 3 and 4 hours from St John's respectively for the remaining 6.

I did a Mini Tour, Whale Watching, Garden Party Carnival, Kissed a Cod, George Street, Dressed like a Sailor and Relaxed.

There are lots more here on flickr too.
