I'm in a serious spring cleaning mood today; it has been long overdue might I add.
I have filled up 5 double garbage bags full of clothing to donate tomorrow, and I'm not even done.
I feel like I'm on an episode of hoarders right now. I'd take a picture, but it's really terrible haha.
However with that being said, I'm feeling really good about getting a good amount of things out of my bedroom; and I'm also cringing at the amount of money I have spent over the years on about 20 of the same black t-shirts.
I'm finally able to display lots of my art, photos and ever beloved Dakine bags.
I'm also going to go through all of my scrapbooking stuff and do a big haul over to my ETSY and list pretty much all of it. I have SO many triples of items - I just collected everything and was too afraid to use it. So if you're into scrapbooking/journaling (like many of us are) I'll make sure to let everyone know when the sets are listed.
Plus I think it's high time for a SPRING TIME GIVE AWAY in honor of my cleaning frenzy!!
Leave me a quick post here to let me know if a give away is a good idea just so I have an idea of how many people are interested.
A friend and I ventured out this week to do a little scavenger hunt of sorts. We decided to stick to about 4 downtown blocks near a popular street and collect pictures of items that either made and X or an O.
We didn't want to make the area too large to make it a little more of a challenge. Lets just say O's were much easier to find than X's for obvious reasons!
This is what I came up with on our first round.
Clearly the O's were our winner, I'm going to try to find more interesting X's next time.
I totally think that this little project was a blast, and I encourage you to try it out for yourself. You can Pic Tac Toe your kitchen, bedroom, craft space, backyard...anywhere. You could even stray from the exact use of X's and O's and try 2 colors, 2 different shapes, 2 specific items etc. The combinations are endless! I'm going to try some other combo's tomorrow.
I challenge you to compile your own Pic Tac Toe, and I would love to see it :)
However I have been making some cute stuff and tying up loose ends.
In the last month or two I have been laid off, celebrated my birthday, finally ate my first full meal of Sushi, saw some hillarious movies, caught up on some much needed sleep, visted my favorite little baby, wrote down a million crafty ideas, custom plush cameras, learning to make some puppy clothes and now I'm on the hunt for a new job; fingers crossed :)
Here are just a few pictures of what has been keeping me busy.
