Glitter Spider Tutorial

I saw these super cute little spider ornaments at the store and thought, Gosh how fun!

I decided to try and make some of my own.

Here is a little how to - and some things I learned along the way

Supplies you will need:

• Some inexpensive wire (thicker the better)
• Plyers
• Glitter
• Glue  
• Different size bells

Spread out your glitter.

I choose non Halloween colors for a more whimsical look instead.

Next completely coat your bells with glue, and roll in the glitter and shake off the excess. This part is really messy.

Now take your wire and cut 3 strips per spider and bend your legs, then glue to the bottom of your spider bell body.

Now you have a spider!

I found that adding some of the hot glue to the legs made for some interesting webs.

You can also glitter up your legs, which I ended up doing after the fact.

Many Updates, Many Posts!

So I'm spending my Friday evening at home, and am going to try my best to accomplish a lot tonight. I have some orders from Etsy that I have to finish up

Here is one finished:

 I rented like 5 movies and am going to watch as I craft. I'm on Observe and Report right now. I have heard nothing but bad reviews about this movie...but I have a place in my heart for Seth Rogan so I just gotta.

Also I'm getting together some things for a giveaway!!!

Diagnosed.

As many of you might have read a few weeks back, my puppy Jersey had relapsed and we found that the cancer had spread to her lungs.

Today was her check up.
We were given 3 options none of which are good.

They all ultimately lead to the same conclusion.

It's just a matter of how long at this point.

I never knew I could love something so much.

I Have An Addiction....

So I have nothing overly crafty to post about today, it's been a pretty trying week for reasons I'll get into a bit later I'm sure...but I thought I would post about a few of my favorite pairs of "newer" skate shoes.

For no other reason except they make me happy, and I love them so :)

So new they aren't even laced yet!

I call these ones the "Vineyards".
They have a grape print, and the rest is Cork.
