Bringing Back Pen Pals!

Today I ran to the mail box, and was greeted with the

same old junk mail and bills.

It makes the little trip across the street not nearly as

fun as it could be!

It really was just miraculously boring.

So I thought since I have SO much fun stuff in my craft room, having some penpals would be the bestest idea ever :) We can write, send fun prints, crafted goodies, fabric, paper packs...

Anything!

So above is my shop mailing address.

If anyone wants to send some fun stuff back and forth to brighten up our mailboxes feel free to send me a little sumthin' sumthin' and I'll send you some goodies right back!

I promise they will be extra cute!

So if you do happen to send something my way I shall give you a BIG thank you in advance! 

In the package/letter let me know some of your favourite things to do, colors, activities, crafts, etc too just so I can send you some goodies that you will actually love!

Today I ran to the mall really quick, and as I was walking back to my car I witnessed a conversation.

This father was holding his little girls hand, she

couldn't have been more than 4.

She was wearing the cutest little Pea Coat with a hood.

She stopped and put up her hood.

She looked at her dad and said "There, now I look like Little Red Riding Hood" and smiled SO big.

Her father re takes her hand and said

"No you don't, your coat isn't even red; it's Burgundy"

She just put her head down.

I wanted to die inside!!!!

It made me so sad and frustrated.

What a crummy thing to say.

Poor little one.

Somewhere from my home to hers, the package wasn't noted as recieved so it looked as if it didn't arrive. Oh dear! I quickly made her a new one that arrived, thank goodness.

Happy Valentines Day!

Today was like any other day, except it included cupcakes

delivered door to door by yours truely :)

I made 2 different yummy cupcakes:

Purple Cream Cheese on Vanilla with poprocks on top for a little bite.

Butter Cream on Vanilla with a Strawberry Cream Cheese filling.

I also made some photo valentines to go with the cupcakes for my lovelies!

M had his first taste of rice cereal this week.

Some Of My Favourite Words

I drive around my city a lot!

Truth be told I really like driving. I also like singing in my car...but that's not what this is about haha.

I realized as I was driving around this week that there are several really random words that I just love saying.

I caught myself giggling about them, these are a few.

haha I also really think it works best if you use a very stereotypical "rich person"

accent like your wearing a monocle and top hat.

Sending Some Love - Via My Etsy Shop

So being that it's February I thought I would do a big markdown to make way for some new items.

I also permanently marked down my Plush Goodies!

Also everyone else in my house would *love* if I cleared stock so it's not all in their way haha. It's spilling out of my craft room at a crazy rate. My car back seat is also full of stuff, but that is helping slightly with the icy roads haha. So really that just means there is lots of stuff waiting to pop into the shop!

Also as a total side note, I dyed my hair really dark again last night.

It's like REALLY dark in person, and way more red lol.

The curl makes it look so short too, it's really mid way down my back :)

The Push For Pita!

The lovely Janel from the Blog Run With Scissors has mad it so. This is the link to all of the info about Pita and a couples quest to adopt. However I'm sure if you have found my blog, you already know who Janel is haha.

She was kindly asking for some Bloggers and Etsy sellers to donate an item to her shop. The item would be sold and the money would be placed into the adoption fund for Pita. <3

I grabbed my idea note book and pulled out an idea that was going to create for Spring!

So it's a little early, but for a GREAT cause :)

Snow Day Cupcakes!

I have been catching up on blogs non stop this morning and most of what I have been reading is that everyone is snowed in, blizzards and just general coldness.

In Calgary we are very used to being covered in snow for the better part of the year. We consider -15 a normal "nice" day in the winter haha. We usually hit during the worst of the times -40.

Today there is the usual pounds of snow on the

ground, but it's sunny and crisp.

I decided to make some cupcakes to add a little yummy warmth to everyone's computer screens!
