What A Funny Kid...

I was digging through pictures tonight with my Dad for my Mom's 50th b-day and we found some amazing shots.

I can't wait to share them!

This one is off topic, but still spectacular.

Apperantly even at a very young age, I loved Moustaches.

Finished Wedding Cake Topper!!

So did you know that you can't hot glue cured polymer clay to itself?

Hey me neither!

I sat there with 8 unattached tree branches, a ton of leaves and a trunk for the tree and didn't know where to start.

With the weight of the branches even super glue wouldn't hold them. Eventually I just glued, squished, painted and ribboned them together until it stayed.

Thank goodness it turned out ok.

However I couldn't be happier with the outcome!!

I hope they love it.

Everybody Likes Cake!

Morning All!

I just wanted to do a really quick post and show you a very

unfinished piece for my friends wedding.

It's the Cake Topper!!

I placed the pieces down when I took them out of the oven just now.

They still need to be sanded, painted, and bedazzled!

The tree has about 15 other branches, and leaves.

There will be a veil and some DC shoe laces to come :)

A Little Bit of Pirate Booty!

It was my friends bridal shower on Sunday.

I couldn't wait to give her my gift.

Let me first say that we both have a big thing for Pirates!

I found pieces of this chest all over the thrift store. Found a top, tried to find a bottom...there was emblem over there. It took me like 45 minutes and I found all of the pieces I needed.

I ripped out all of the old red crushed velvet, that was really gross in person. Then gave it a good scrub. Reupholstered the inside with some vintage napkins, and stuck some polyfil on the bottom to make it extra squishy. Finished with some ribbon edges and button corners.

OH and the stagette vail, it's pirate style. *swoon*

I Can't Stop Laughing...

So I finished a new messenger bag tonight for my big ETSY update.

You know how a picture sometimes sparks an old memory?

I was going for a pair of those glasses that has the nose, moustache and eyebrows attached. However it looks a bit more like one of those guys you would see on a police motorcycle; and it immediately reminded me of the movie Super Troopers. Meow ;)

Uuuh.....Ma'am do you know how fast you were going back there??

haha still funny.

Then I just ended up getting distracted by the Magnifying Glass.

I'm like 5 years old :)

I found some cute vintage goodies today that will be going up on Etsy as well. One of the items that I found I'm going to be doing something unconventional with, I just have to figure out how! Wish me luck.

I am super sleepy this morning.

Work is providing to be tough already... must keep eyes open. Ive been here for 2 hours and I would rather go outside and take pictures.

Happy Happy Joy Joy!!

Happy Sunday All!

I was finally able to load the majority of my pictures off of my camera I finished a ton of stuff this weekend and have a weeks worth of pictures to thumb through.

I found an amazing item at the thrift store!! I think only Leigh Ann will be excited. Honestly like a day after you found your Gumball machine my V Villiage had a giant stand up one, it's like over 4 feet tall I presume. It was old, scuffed, heavy and REALLY dirty.

However I gave it a healthy coat of beautiful Robins Egg Blue spray paint, and now it's holding my knitting! I rolled yarn balls for about an hour just to fill it up; and the locked change drawer is now holding my needles.

I'm in LOVE!

Chuck Taylors for Puppies!?

I sent Miss Elsie*Cake a package a week or 2 ago, and she finally got it in the mail. So now I can post one of my favorite goodies!!

There is an adorable picture of Suki wearing her new duds on flickr. One shoe has her name painted on with a lil' green jewel to boot. Now there can be a whole family of cute shoe pictures.
